Emma was born May 25, 1920 at Charleston, SC, daughter of the late James Bennie Johnson and Jennie Bliss Bryan.
She drove a school bus and managed the lunchroom of Ladson Elementary School for thirty years. She loved the Lord and was a charter member of Deer Park Baptist Church. She was married to the late Audley Luie Baker.
She is survived by three children: Bliss Adams (Robert) of Bonneau, SC; Vale Baker of Bonneau, SC and Luie Amme Baker (Liz) of Columbia, SC. Also, seven grandchildren: Amie Hall (Barry), Abby Adams, Kim Rowley (Tod), Kristen DeLong (Dustin J), Lowell Baker (Anastasia), Dottie Baker and Rhett Baker (Bia); eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Gloria Berry of Walterboro, SC and a “special” grandson, Dennis Hall (Susan) of Summerville, SC.

A Graveside Service will held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., SC 29406.
