Franklin Reed Burke, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 12, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born July 21, 1934 in Darlington, SC to the late Daniel Reed and Willie Jewel Lane Burke. Franklin was a member of Carolina Bay Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Sarah “Jerrie” Burke, three daughter; Susie Weeks (Earl), Peggy Inman (George), and Marlene Parker (Paul), one son; Franklin “Rocky” Reed Burke, Jr., two granddaughters; Lori Nelson (Matt), Jerilyn Inman, five great grands; John, Jordan, Austin, Emma, and Evan, one brother; John Clifton Burke (Linda), and several nieces and nephews. Franklin is pre deceased by one grand daughter; Keri Cooper.
