Gary Michael Cooper, "Mike", 56, of Summerville, SC, passed away on March 5, 2017. A funeral in his honor will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in visitation an hour prior before the service. Mike was known to be an avid craftsman who enjoyed Western movies, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and serving his church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Dora Lee Cooper, and his brother, Samuel Cooper. Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Tammy Cooper; children, Sam and Whitney Cooper; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kaila, and Camyl; a sister, Diane Cooper, and a niece, Tara McCarson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward the funeral expenses at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals, and Cremations has charge of arrangements.
