Henry Michael Hagen, 82, of Summerville, SC, husband of Judy Davis Chapin Hagen, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2020. He was born March 25, 1938 the son of the late Helge Michael Hagen and Louvenia Brannon Hagen Block.
Henry was a graduate of Chicora High School; and of Riddle Aeronautical University in Jacksonville, FL where he earned a BS degree in Industrial Management and an AS degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Nuclear Auditor in the Quality Assurance Office. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, and the Spiritual Growth Sunday School Class where he was known for his Biblical Knowledge and wonderful prayers. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing.
Henry is survived by his wife Judy Davis Chapin Hagen; children, Amie Haldeman (Richard), Kelly Herrick, and Dale Chapin; grandchildren, Christopher, Alyson, Michael, Emily and Keith; great grandson, Aiden; sisters, Anna Merz and Thelma Sommers; step brother, Ronnie Block; brother in law, Larry Davis (Rose Mary) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents Henry was preceded in death by his step brother, Frederick Block.
The graveside funeral service for Henry will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222.
