She was the daughter of Hisen Ellis Bellamy and Blanche Livingston Bellamy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby W. McBride, and her siblings Merlin Bellamy, Nelda Bratcher, and Hyson “Ellis” Bellamy.
She is survived by her children Bobby McBride Jr, Judy Branham, Donna Van Liew (Gerald), and Linda Sims (Robert); grandchildren Christopher Van Liew (Courtney), Lauren Van Liew, Krista Stewart (Ryan), and Jeremy Sims; and her great grandchildren Jasmine Goodale and Cason Goodale .
She was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
A Vistitation will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremations, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The Celebration of Life will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will be at 4:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
