Julia Rozier

Relatives and friends of Julia Rozier are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Julia was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on September 9, 1921. She was the daughter of Hiram Davis Monteith and Rilla Rulaney Monteith of Charleston, SC. Julia was predeceased by her loving husband, Adam Rozier, after 31 years of marriage. After the death of her husband, Julia, at the age of 49, attended nursing school at St. Francis, a childhood dream. She then worked as a nurse for St. Francis for 13 years before retiring. She had several hobbies including painting, gardening, playing piano and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Christian and ensured that her children know Jesus Christ. How fitting it was that she was "resurrected" on a warm, sunny, Easter morning.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles Rozier (Millie), Danny Rozier (Lynn), Darlene Clift (Butch) and Walter Rozier (Margi); 10 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
