Kathryn "Kitty" Z Bessinger

She was born on July, 31, 1940 in Bamberg, SC to the late Henry and Mary (Nob) Bessinger.

She is preceded in death by her brother. Butch Bessinger and sister, Donna Bessinger.

Kitty is survived by: her loving and ever so devoted brother, Laurie Bessinger and his wife Ginger, her sisters: Betsy Avery and Sally Hance and her husband J. R., and her best friend Sandy Hilty. Also, her loving nieces, Kelly, Roxanne, Angie, Amy, Kara and Katey. Her nephews: Jamey, Billy, Ryan, B. J., Stewart, and Jeremy.

Although, Kitty had no children of her own, her nieces and nephews were her heart and soul. Each one of them were always in her constant thoughts and prayers.

Kitty was a faithful member of Goose Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved her pastor James and her church family.

A Visitation will be held Sunday March 27, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life Service will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial at 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
