Lloyd Leroy McDaniel Sr.

Lloyd Leroy McDaniel Sr. 79, of Summerville SC, surrounded by his family peacefully passed away on March 25th 2016 at Ralph H Johnson VA Hospital. He was born November 8th 1936 in Hemingway SC to the late Louin T. and Ethel Cribb McDaniel. Leroy served in the US Army from 1954-1957, then in the US Air Force from 1957-1960 and was honorably discharged. He was an avid outdoors man; he loved hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He spent his life serving his God, Family and Friends. He is survived by his wife Gail Spivey McDaniel; son: Lloyd Leroy McDaniel Jr. and daughter in law Donna McDaniel both of Summerville, SC. , his Step sons: Roger Keith Spivey of Charlotte, NC and Douglas Glen Spivey of Pensacola, FL., Step daughter: Karen Spivey and Alan Darr of Benson, NC., Grandson: Randy Garrett McDaniel of Summerville, SC. Granddaughter : Courtney Olivia Renee McDaniel of Summerville, SC; Step-Grandson: Matthew J. Worling of Myrtle Beach, SC. Brothers: Robbie Mitchell of Knightsville, SC ; Andrew James “Toby” of Rockhill, SC ; Jerry L. of Salters, SC; Johnny M. of Summerville, SC; Sister :Becky McDaniel Wolfinbarger of Moncks Corner, SC. Preceded by wife Arlette Gail McDaniel and brother Joseph L. of Pontiac, SC. A Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm. Funeral services will be at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue N. Charleston, SC at 12pm on March 29th,2016., burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Arrangements by CAROLINA MEMORIAL PARK, FUNERALS and CREMATIONS.
