Luanne Carter Beach

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Douglas Beach, daughter Kelli Kinsman (Steve), son Todd Beach (Jennifer), grandchildren Katie Severe (Tron), Jenna Gainey, Lauren McCormick (Todd), Mackenzie and Dawson Beach. Nana had four great-grands, Selah, Silas and Mercy Severe, and Micah McCormick. She leaves a special cousin and friend, Shelba Fisher, and countless friends and church family.

She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Steele Freeman and stepfather, Fred Freeman.

Luanne moved to Charleston in 1956 and met her sweetheart soon after. She built a life in the Charleston area raising Kelli and Todd, attending Friendship Baptist Church and devoting herself to the babies and children at Remount Baptist Church Daycare. She loved caring for her grandchildren and cooking countless Saturday night family dinners.

A visitation will be held on Sunday January 9, 2022 at 11:30am at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Masks are encouraged and appreciated.
