M.H. " Robbie " Robertson

Marvin “Robbie” H. Robertson, 75, of North Charleston, husband of Linda Griffin Robertson entered into eternal rest on Monday January 28th, 2019. Robbie was born in Anderson, Alabama a son of the late Marvin H. Robertson and Nellaree Ridgeway Slaton. He worked as an Electronic Technician for 35 years with ATT, retiring in 2000.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and raising worms for his garden. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved working on his 1957 Chevy.

Robbie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Griffin Robertson, sons: Joseph (and wife Sondra), granddaughters Brittany and Rebecca from Madison, Alabama. Jason (and wife Tatyana), granddaughters Ashley and Dara of North Charleston, South Carolina, and Step Grandson M. Alex Carpenter of Jacksonville, Florida. Step Granddaughter Dr. Kate Eichel (and husband Carl), Great-Granddaughters Mara and Lily of Duluth, Georgia. ,sisters: Mischa Long and Lisa Whitt of Athens, AL.

The relatives and friends of M.H. “Robbie” Robertson are invited to attend his funeral services on the 1st day of February 2019, at 11 o'clock at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday January 31, 2019 at the funeral home.
