Melvin was a kind, witty, and generous person. He constantly went out of his way to assist someone in need. He was a fantastic father, brother, neighbor, and son. He raised two amazing children, JaJanae Richardson and Kevin Boyd. He also raised many other people who weren't his own. He was a tough man who never gave up.
A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home for Melvin will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at Carolina Memorial gardens at 12:00 PM.
