Nancy Jenkins Meyer

Nancy Wingo Jenkins Meyer, 75, of Ladson, SC, died Saturday, January 7 at home. She was born January 29, 1947, in Beckley, WV, the daughter of the late Paul Eugene Jenkins and the late Margaret Alice Almond Jenkins. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, WV, and the Baptist College at Charleston, Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Meyer served as an accountant for decades, both self-employed and within several companies. She was a trusted business advisor and tax consultant.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula Meyer of Hanahan and Marla Meyer Campbell (Billy) of Hanahan; two granddaughters, Liza Campbell of Dallas, TX and Sally Campbell of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother, Paul (Red) Jenkins of Fairfax, VA; one sister, Karen Jenkins Syfrett (Harold) of Ladson, SC; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by former husband, J Irvin Meyer; daughter, Jo Ann Adkins; grandson, Robert Meyer; and sister-in-law, Pippa Jenkins.

Memorial service will be held at Carolina Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406 at 2:00 p.m. on January 21, 2023. Visitation with family will be held at 1:00 p.m.
