He is leaving behind wife Joan D. Bolton , daughter Virginia (Missy) McComas and granddaughter Destiny Jade McComas.
Surviving as well are his sisters Pamela Barrosse, Annette Miller, Dorothy “Dot” Olmeda and brother John “Wesley” Bolton.
Resting in peace with son Palmer "Eugene " Bolton lll , mother Doris Bolton and father Palmer Eugene Bolton Sr.
He was known for having his own business "Palmer's Automotive" and for being a diesel mechanic and truck shop foreman at Jones Ford.
He also worked at Dominion Energy and retried in April of 2024.

A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7713 Rivers Ave., North Charleston for Palmer will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life gravesides services will take place at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
