Patricia M. Googe

Pat was born on Sunday, February 24th 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina to James S. Minor Sr and Annie Parker Minor.

Mrs. Googe spent her professional career working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church, Friddle Young and Roberts and Atlas Food Brokers as well as the Charleston County Sherriff’s Office in their Training Department. Mrs. Googe’s hobbies included playing the piano, singing in the choir at Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church and was a friend to everyone she met in her life.

Mrs. Googe is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, James R. Googe, her eldest son, James Randall Googe, his wife, Heather Smith Googe and their daughter Reily Moore Googe Mrs. Googe is also survived by her youngest son, John Gregory Googe., a brother, James S. Minor Jr., his wife Linda Minor, and their daughters, Jennifer Minor Tuckwiller, her husband John Tuckwiller and Angela Renee Minor of Saint Helena Island, South Carolina and Charleston South Carolina respectively.

Family and friends may greet the family on Sunday, July 18th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The Celebration of Life will follow from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
