Roger Dean Jones

Roger Dean Jones,55, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday January 30, 2017 at Trident Medical Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. The relatives and friends of Roger Jones are invited to attend his Funeral services on Friday February 3, 2017 at 11 am at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, the family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Roger was born November 16, 1961 in Charleston, SC, a son of Gleen A. Jones and Beulah G. Jones. He was the Laboratory Superintendent at BCWS for 22 years. His love of music led him to be a music teacher, a luthier and one of the best guitar players around. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Karen A. Jones, sons: Jimmy Lee Morris Jr (Amber), Glenn Garrett Jones (Micaela) and daughter: Brittany Nichole Morris , his mother: Beulah G. Jones, brother: Donald G. Jones, 3 nieces: Robin, Allyson and Chelsea and a nephew: Christopher. He was the proud grandfather of Cayden and Carissa Morris. He is preceded in death by his father Gleen A.
