Ruth Isaac Taylor

Relatives and friends of Ruth Taylor are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Pittman Street Baptist Church, 5105 Pittman Street, North Charleston.

Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday evening, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC 29406.

Ruth was born in Dry Creek, Kentucky, on February 20, 1938. She was the daughter of Irvin and Mary Isaac.

Ruth was a loving wife, and devoted mother of five children, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Pittman Street Baptist Church and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Lynn Karst (Allen), Jerry Lee Taylor (Kathy), William G. Taylor Jr. (Doris) and David Lee Taylor (Theresa); her grandchildren, Christina Kinne (Tommy), Trisha Taylor, William G. Taylor, III (Lindsey) and Hannah Ryann Taylor, as well as nine great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, William G. Taylor; her son, Robert Lee Taylor, and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
