

Sandra was born on July 17th, 1942 to the late Serafin and Gregoria Estrada in Santa Cruz Laguna, Philippines.
She is survived by her husband, Philip; her daughters, Trixia Sottile and Tina Fechhelm; Grandsons, Tyler (Kaylee Gormel) and Kristofer Hyman (Kalyn Hyman, daughter in law), Ian and Evan Fechhelm; Granddaughter, Caleigh Sottile; her eldest sister, Zita Sloan (Bill Sloan, brother in law); younger brother, Arnold Estrada (Nanette Estrada, sister in law); youngest brother, Rick Estrada (Wilma Estrada, sister in law); and youngest sister, Marcie Joaquin.
She is preceded in death by her parents Serafin, father, and Gregoria, mother, Estrada; her oldest brother, Joset Ma. R. Estrada; her younger brother, Emmanuel R. Estrada; and her youngest brother, Serafin A. Estrada, Jr; brother in law, Dick Joaquin.
All her formal education was completed in the Philippines. She served as a military spouse for almost 30 years, simultaneously raising two girls alongside her husband, Philip, of almost 60 years. She enjoyed participating in the Fil-Am, Filipino American, community organization, as well as serving her church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She always looked forward to her trips back home to the Philippines. Her hobbies throughout the years were dancing, tennis, visiting with friends, and traveling locally, out of state, or overseas.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, at 1pm, Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life service at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Carolina Memorial Park, then immediately afterwards a reception with heavy Filipino hors d’oevres.at the funeral home reception hall.
