

Ted L. Moore, 85, of Goose Creek passed away after a long illness on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at theHospice Center of Charleston. He was born on May 10, 1930, in Andrews, SC, to Fred Lee Moore and Bessie Coker Moore. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He honorably retired from the United States Army as a Lt. Col. He was a Vietnam and Korean War Veteran, a True Warrior. Ted was heroic by nature and blessed with quick wit and devilish good looks. He will be truly missed by his wife, Brenda Hiott Moore. In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by his children, James L. Moore (Judy) of Goose Creek, Patty Van Dyne of Tennessee, Terrie Howlett (David) of Charleston, and Susan Green; daughter-in-law, Deborah Moore of Goose Creek (Virginia Moore, their mother); grandchildren, Keagen Moore, Charles, Tyler, and Lee Van-Dyne, Jennifer Wahrmund, and Stephanie Towers, Ryan, George, and Shane Green. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Drew and Caroline Wahrmund, and Carter Towers; step granddaughter; Towers; step granddaughter; Kristen Crowe , step great-grand daughters; Amanda Durant and Emily Howlett; one sister, Eunice Ward of Goose Creek; his very special niece, Joann Ward Smith and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Phillip R. Moore, and two sisters, Elizabeth Wells and Virginia Hinson.
