My Dad was my best friend from about age 17 until the present time.  He taught me one of the most important things at a very young age, to think before I spoke,  it took a while to sink in but eventually it helped me throughout my life.  He taught me many things over the years many just by setting the example.  Never make important decisions too quickly.   One thing he taught me was to stay calm even in an emergency situation, when Dana’s leg was almost ripped off by a go cart, he tied a belt around his leg  To stop the bleeding and rushed him to the hospital in a hurry but remaining calm as we  were on the way.  I was only 10 but it served me well when I got into Law Enforcement.  He taught me to use my hards, to fix things, build things and Repair my cars.  He taught me to be respectful of others and especially my elders, love my moms, to look at things from different angles.   He taught me after years of him beating me at pool, he taught me how to play better to the point that I would be a challenge to play for him.  He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He taught me how to be a man, to care for others, to help others and to not take life too seriously.  I don’t think I would have survived cancer had he not been there for me, with his encouragement, his kind words, his telling me I can do it.  He had been through the same surgery I had so he understood how very difficult it was for me.   I have spent my entire life trying to better myself and be the kind of man he was,  what an excellent example I have had to follow.  I will miss him until my last breath.  I love you dad with all my heart.  

Tommy, my dear cousin, when I was seventeen , you brought me to spend time with you and your family in Maryland. You were so kind to me, you took me for a tour of the White House, to the Smithsonian and you bought me beautiful Chinese brushes for my art. I took the train home and it was a wonderful adventure. I thank you for that. I remember you when I was a little girl in Myrtle beach, we had fun and got into a little trouble, just having fun. I love you and I look forward to spending eternity with you in Heaven. May the Lord welcome you into his arms. You found a wonderful wife in Jeannie, I know she will miss you so much. An awesome step-Father, an awesome friend, and a PERFECT husband to my Mother.  I am forever grateful and will cherish the memories till that time we meet and make more again.  It hurts deeply BUT he finally enjoys Heavenly peace and God's wondrous glory.  United with Him and reunited with all the loved ones gone before.  I imagine the celebration, the glorious revelations, and how much he's enjoying learning all the answers!  I'll be looking for him to send me a clue.  Love You Tom, see you again one day soon!  



Cuz, our time together throughout our childhood, teen years, and adult life were some of my greatest memories.  You are an inspiration and a role model for all men to aspire to become.  Your kind-hearted, wisdom-filled, loving disposition and “take the high road attitude”are only a few of your great qualities.  There will NEVER be another person who I will enjoy being around as much as you!  I will say “See you later, Cuz” as I always did and when the Lord comes for me we will fish together once again!
