Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 3:00pm at Summerville Family Worship Center. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Dixson SR. Vera is survived by her three children: daughters, Sheri (Troy) Highsmith of Summerville, Becky (Marty) Garvin of Johns Island, her son, Bobby (Tina) Dixson Jr. of Summerville, her two brothers, Arnold (Cookie) Craven of Georgia, Kevin Craven of Walterboro; as well as four grandchildren, Dalton, Clyfton, Brittany, Cassidy, Mark; and three great grandchildren, Mo, Aimee, and Sammy.
Vera was a faithful member and supporter at Johns Island Church of God of Prophecy. She was known for her unconditional love to everyone, her love to play and sing music, and her heart and desire to serve her Lord and Savior.
