
Virgie Edwards DuBose was born to the late Corine Bostic Edwards and Chris Edwards on October 23, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina. A time to die..... She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Virgie is a product of the Charleston County School System. She graduated from Bonds Wilson High School. She earned a Medical Certificate from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. She met Leon DuBose. After a long courtship they married on June 4, 1993. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Virgie's infectious personality caused her to be known by many and loved by all. She devoted her life to God, her church, family, and community. Virgie was a faithful member who worked diligently behind the scenes on many projects in her church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie; a brother Bennie and a sister, Olivia; two sisters-in-law Zelma and Norma. Virgie leaves to celebrate her life and remember precious moments: her loving husband Leon; children: Kimberly LeAnn of California, Leon II (Jacquar) of Texas, Gregory (Aquanetta) of California, Jamesetta Nichols (Raymond) of Nevada and Patrick Black of Nevada. Five siblings: Anne S. Evans, John C. Edwards (Richardine), Shirley D. Edwards of Nevada, Frank S. Edwards (Donnella) of New Jersey, and Joseph Edwards (Gloria); Two brothers-in -law: Baylor DuBose (Gloria) of Nevada, Wilbert DuBose (Sharon) of Tennessee; Five sisters-in-law: Barbara McSwain of Nevada, Marcine Morris of California, Rosemond Leonard of California, Vivian O'Neal (George) of Tennessee, Elizabeth White (Boubon) of California; Grandchildren: Leon DuBose, III, Desmeyon Dysart DuBose, Kevina DuBose, Brian Nichols and David Nichols; Five great grandchildren; Three devoted accepted daughters: Audrey Harris, Tracy Ford and Janice Glasper; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. There were many others she loved and embraced them all as her own.
