Wallace "Buddy" Tant

Buddy was born on May 13, 1937, to the late Robert L. & Edna C. Tant in Blackville, SC. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen "Bettie" Tant, of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Bonnie Brown (Derek), grandchildren Jennifer Middleton (Bobbie), Clay McCarn, Ryan LeCroy and Sarah LeCroy. His quiver was full as he is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 2 brothers (Rupert & Robbie) and his sister Agnes.

Buddy loved fishing and spent many hours at the lake with his family. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle but sold it because Bettie wouldn't ride with him. He enjoyed a long career in civil service as a Planner/Estimator, retiring in 1990. He and Bettie enjoyed many trips to the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains. Dearly loved by his family, he will be missed beyond measure.

A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7713 Rivers Ave., North Charleston for Wallace will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Life Well Celebrated Service at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Entombment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
