William “Todd” Currie, age 54, of North Charleston SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 31, 2015. He was born on February 7, 1961 in Hampton, SC. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He was a avid outdoors and sportsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed carpentry work and refurbishing woodworks.
Todd is survived by his mother: Mary Evelyn “Pete” Currie of North Charleston SC; father: James W. Currie; brothers: Mitchell E. Currie and wife Kathy of Goose Creek SC, and Troy J. Currie and wife Caryn of Hohenfels, Germany; niece: Kaylin Currie of Nashville TN; nephew: William Currie of Hohenfels, Germany; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 3, 2015. The family is gratefully accepting flowers in his honor.
The family would like to thank the staff of Roper Hospital and the support and prayers of his many friends and caregivers.
