Zachary Ray Barfield

Zachary Ray Barfield, 19, of St. George, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Zachary “Zach” was born on September 19, 2002, alongside his twin sister Zoey Barfield in Summerville, South Carolina.

Zach graduated from Woodland High School as the class of 2021. He then started a career as a local farmer at the Weather’s Farm in St. George. Zach loved hunting, farming, baseball, football, boating, and most of all spending time with his loved ones.

Zach was predeceased in death by his grandfather, Thomas “Old-man” Barfield.

Surviving are his parents, James Ray Barfield and Annette Jones Barfield, his twin sister Zoey Marie Barfield (Andrew Logan Connelly), and his grandmother Donna Barfield. Along with many extended family & friends that he cared so deeply for.

The family will be holding a wake at Ridgeville Baptist Church, 150 N Main Street, Ridgeville, SC 29472 on Thursday July 28, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm. The funeral will be held at Ridgeville Baptist Church on Friday July 29, 2022 beginning at 2pm with the burial to follow at 3:30pm St. George Memorial Gardens, 204 Spring Road, St. George, SC 29477.
