My brother was a wonderful person whom brought joy to our lives from the moment he was born. His smile and laughter would fill our entire home with warmth and kindness. As a baby my sister and I often played with him so much that mom had to rescue him from us so he could relax. As the years went by, we still enjoyed playing and talking to him about many different things.

I had the honor of sharing many of the same interests as my baby brother. Comics, music, computers, etc. So many to list. But in all of those, my brother bested me in everything. He understood the comics we liked much better than me. In music, we played the same instrument, but he played it like an extension of himself and even 'danced' through his passion with music. In computers, I never had to explain anything more than once. In fact, he would later come back to me to explain how to do it better.

So many memories like that of my dear brother. Too many to tell you about in a single post. But today, I want to thank my brother once again for doing something I could never do. He is able to bring back so many memories, that perhaps we, family, friends and all those who knew him, had forgotten about or were about to forget. Today, he has made those memories permanent in our hearts. In the hope that one day those memories will slowly but steadily replace the sadness, pain and suffering we feel today, with memories full of joy, laughter and hope. My brother would not want us to be sad, he would want us to be joyful and full of hope.

So today, I will not say goodbye to my brother. God willing, we will all be together in His glory. Rest in Piece.

I was going through a rough patch years ago. It sort of involved my burning some bridges. Then, I find this Burbank-based anime group going to see... either some Ghost in the Shell anime movie, or something by a big name, like Mamoru Oshii. I got in touch with these guys and actually met up with them at the Burbank AMC... or was it in Hollywood? Anywhich, I'd made myself a new bunch of otaku friends, and it led to some adventures I'll never forget.

God bless the family, and may His Spirit bring them comfort and solace in these trying times.
