

Leanetta Denise Bell was born in Los Angeles on October 12, 1962, and passed away on December 13, 2025, in Van Nuys, California. Leanetta who was lovingly called “Green Eyes” by her son and grandson, had a sparkling personality whose presence filled the room with warmth, laughter, and love, and whose life revolved around the people she cherished mostly her family.
Leanetta was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Danzel Lee, and a proud, adoring grandmother to Dakhai Lee, who brought her immeasurable joy. Being a mother and grandmother were her greatest blessings, and she poured her heart into nurturing, supporting, and celebrating her family every day. She is also survived by her sibling, Anthony Bell, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
Leanetta dedicated 20 years of her life as a Community Living Service program manager for a non-profit organization. She was committed to supporting individuals with special needs at New Horizons. Her work was more than a career, it was a calling. She led with compassion, patience, and integrity, always advocating for others and making a meaningful difference in countless lives.
Leanetta loved to dance, enjoyed shopping, and was known for her contagious laugh that could brighten even the heaviest moments. Her sense of humor, vibrant personality, and generous spirit made her unforgettable to all who knew her. Above all else, family was the most important thing in her life, and her love will continue to live on through them.
Leanetta Denise Bell will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Leanetta is survived by: her only son Danzel Lee, her only grandson, Dakhai Lee, her only brother Anthony Bell and his wife Elizabeth and Nephews; Anthony Jr., Christian, Isaiah and many beloved, cousins.
