It's been two years and we still miss Stuart at the ballpark.  He was not only a great ballplayer but he was a great teammate and friend.

A great guy, a great teammate.  Always a ready smile.  Loved it when he would bring Bogie to the pickup games.  RIP, good Sir


A great guy and a tremendous softball player. We had loads of fun going to UCLA football and CSUN basketball. Stu was responsible for my team, the Marlins, winning the Senior softball championship game in 2017. 

A real loss.  A great guy.  One of the best who will be missed by all he came in contact with.


Sorry to hear the sad news about Stuart he was one of the good ones. Loved the way he always gave me a nod when he saw me walking around the fields with my old beat up soda can.

   My deepest condolences to the Lewin  family on your loss.
   Stu was one of the first guys I met when joining the Senior Softball League 21 years ago. I remember him always throwing a racquet ball against the clubhouse wall before a game to tone up. I gave him his first handball to replace the mushy racquet ball. That guy could really hit the softball. You could ALWAYS depend on Stu to get on base and add an RBI to boot. His legs bothered him later in life, but he gave 100% and never complained. He was also a consistent figure in Sunday's Culver City League. 
   Senior Softball will certainly miss his easy going attitude and presence. I KNOW I WILL! Rest in Peace, Brother. 

Stu was a great guy and a solid ball player we were teammates on a couple of teams. We also shared season tickets to CSUN ( our alma mater) basketball games in Northridge. We'll miss you Stu. Be in peace. JAY

The Indians remember when Stuart's big bat anchored the heart of our lineup.    He was a vital part of a team that went deep into the playoffs.  We will cherish his memory.

Stewy you will be missed. You were an awesome teammate.

Stu was a caring and uplifting man! His passion for softball and bowling was so inspiring, especiallt after he had his knee replacement! He would lovingly talk about his family with his infectious smile  and always  put a smile on my face!  I will miss him especially when we resume softball games again! May God watch over and comfort his family as they grieve their loss and cherish the wonderful memories of him.
