

Aline C. Spalding Epstein, 88 years old, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida. She had resided at Harbor Chase (ALF) for the last several months of her life, lovingly cared for by her family.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, was well traveled, talented in art and loved to dance. Aline settled in Miami, where she became successful in the catering business in well-known hotels on Miami Beach in the 1950’s.
Many years and careers later, she was a manager at a major Publishing company. She was predeceased by her husband of 19 years, Jerome Epstein. They moved to Century Village in the late 90’s and Aline continued to live there until the last few months of her life.
Aline was predeceased by: her parents (Edna and Frank Spalding), her beloved sisters and brothers; Edna Frances Haas, Goldie Kantzler, Charles Spalding, Jerome Spalding as well as Howard Spalding (age 4).
She is survived by her stepchildren, Bunny Ehrlich (Simon) children Oren and Danit, Lainie Epstein (Jerry Kuc), Mike Epstein, children Neal and Caitlin.
Her nieces; Rosanne (Jeff) Susi children Erica, Matthew, Angie and Brian; Michelle Kantzler and her children Danielle and Jacob Hultman.
Her nephews, Malcolm Kantzler, Dr. Gary (Doreen) Kantzler his children, Stephanie (Jeff) Voell, Alyssa (Billy) Hatfield and Dylan Kantzler; David Spalding and Jerome Spalding, Jr.
She is also survived by many loving grand nephews, grandniece, and dear friends.
