Anita Rose Lazarus of Coconut Creek died April 6th from a sudden unexpected illness. “Nini” was born to Harry and Lilly Lazarus February 1, 1928 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. She worked as a secretary for Volkswagen and Patent Scaffolding. Family and friends, were Nini’s life. She was loving and self-sacrificing and cared for her brother Harvey during a long, protracted illness, and for her sister-in-law Claire in her time of need. She is survived by her brother Sidney; her nephew Howard and his wife Ora; and Lauren, Gillian, and Jake her grand nieces/nephew. She was like a second mother to Howard, and a grandmother to his children, always staying involved in their lives and helping however possible. She has also maintained a number of long-term friendships over the years. People were very important to her. She will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be held at Star of David Memorial Funeral Chapel on Monday April 9 at 1:45 PM. The family requests donations be made to Hadassah or Bnai Brith.
