It was always a special night when I would visit Florida to see my grandma Nana and she and Aunt Doris would take me out to dinner to one of their favorite places.  That would be one in wich all the staff knew them as "the twins".  Aunt Doris was always very engaging and full of energy.  I think of her and my grandma everytime I visit Florida. They were my family in Florida when I was growing up.  I also will always think of Aunt Doris whenever someone mentions the card game Canasta.  I don't know much about the game but have heard it takes a sharp mind, and skill, and my Aunt Doris was a master at it.  She was an exceptional lady and will be dearly missed.

The fabulous Starkmen twins with their eldest children surprised us by showing up in matching outfits.

Mom was always so stylish. It mattered to her. 

When Mom was on hospice these last few months, Susan called every week to say hello  . Thank you Susan

Susan Jane was always calling Mom (and Roz) to check up and say hello. Thank you Susan. 

Barbara was always visiting Mom when she was in Florida and these past few months on hospice Barbara and Henry would visit every week. Thank you Barbara. 

When Mom was on hospice these past few months, she was always asking where’s Norma. May she now Rest In Peace with her twin sister. 

Flowers from Janice and Andy were comforting to know they were thinking of Mom and family. 

We all loved Mom. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. May G-d grant her his most precious gift, peace. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
