Eric was born on February 9, 1960 in Trenton, NJ to parents Judith Stein and Ronald Lefkowitz.
Eric moved to Florida with his mother when he was a young boy and attended school in Miami Beach. Later he also lived in Marin County, California with his father. Later, he moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he opened several successful businesses. He lived on a horse farm there and shared many stories of his time there.
He returned to Miami. He opened a nightclub and a Neon store. Eric was always an entrepreneur. He started a sales firm that sold products on infomercials and cable shopping networks. One of which is where he met his wife. They met and married and started a family. Together they ran the businesses together and started a real estate investment company together. They moved to Clearwater to raise their children Dylan and Myles. They continued with their real estate ventures.
He is survived by his mother, Judith Stein. His two sons, Dylan Lefkowitz and Myles Lefkowitz. His two grandsons, Myles Lefkowitz and Ezra Lefkowitz. His ex wife and best friend, Penny Lefkowitz. His Uncle Larry and wife Chava Lefkowitz and their children in Israel. Also, his Aunt Jane Walters Cutler and cousin David Canter (& family).
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lefkowitz. His maternal grandparents Harold & Madelyn Walters. His paternal grandparents Bert & Anne Lefkowitz. His Uncle Stephen Walters. Also, his stepfather, Jeffrey Stein.
Eric lived his life to the fullest. He loved boating, motorcycles, traveling and meeting new people. He loved his family and being a grandpa.
