My dear Gala,Galka,Galina, 
Every year I called you on your birthday. This year you did not answer.  So, I left a message. 
The next day Vitaly called me and told me the sad news. I was deeply saddened and upset to hear about your passing. 
Once a week I drive down Capital Ave. and always think about you. I tell my friend who is with me- you see that brown building? That is where my friend Galina use to live. 
My condolences and sympathy to Vitaly and Vladen families.

Our condolences to Galina's family! She was the nicest neighbor we ever had! So sweet! We enjoyed her around for 3 years or so; was great to have them,  2, with her friend Luba for Christmas and Easter.And- she loved her cat!Rest in peace dear friend! My Dear Galina 
You were, and  always will be one of the  most important people in my life.  I’m honored to have  had so many wonderful memories with you like fishing at Mill Pond, swimming at Glen Oaks and Rocky Neck Beach, learning my makeup skills and dancing to Abracadabra in your living room!  You were beautiful, kind and so generous, especially with your love and your time.  The thing I remember most is that you always treated me like I was your own daughter and I’m forever grateful to have had you in my life.  Vitaly, Vadik  and the entire Umansky family, I’m so sorry for your loss.  Your mom was the best,  and I will love and miss her always,

I’ll forever be grateful for the friendship we shared. My heart aches for the loss, but I find comfort knowing that the love and memories will never fade.
