Harriet is survived by her spouse, Mel Lieberson; her daughter Corinne Elizabeth Ayers; her step - daughter Lisa Lieberson; and her step - daughter Lisa Lieberson; her father & mother Harry Anderson (Evelyn Lail); her sister Linda SmithBivens, her sister Virginia "Ginger" Anderson Deffenbaugh (Pactrick "Rick") and her brother Howard "Sonny" Anderson (Debbie); her grandson Tyler Anderson Ayers, her granddaughter Cameron Brooke Ayers, her maternal grandparents Marvin Lail (Minnie Stamey) and her paternal grandparents Archie Stroud (Grace Anderson).
Graduated Hickory High School in 1967. Worked in furniture industry in NC in credit department for several furniture manufacturers.
In her youth, Harriet enjoyed horseback riding and visiting with friends and relatives. She loved traveling, and with husband, Mel, enjoyed many vacations to various locales in Europe, Israel, Russia, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
She made friends wherever she went and had many close friends that were like family.
She was the touchstone for her daughter, Corinne and grandchildren, Tyler and Cameron. Both she and Mel, touched their lives and hearts in so many ways. Tyler and Cameron were her pride and joy and she was present in every aspect of their lives.
