

Born on March 8, 1927, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, she lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and was a proud graduate of the Hahnemann School of Nursing in Scranton where she earned her RN degree.
Ida was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Lawrence “Larry” Fiegleman for 68 years. Their enduring partnership was a testament to mutual respect, love, and unwavering support. Together they built a family that became Ida’s greatest joy and source of pride.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ferne (Fiegleman) Robin, Judy (Fiegleman) Rappoport and Dr. Bruce Rappoport; Joseph Fiegleman and Martha Roberts.
She was predeceased by her
beloved husband Larry, son-in-law Marc Robin, great granddaughter Madison Pritikin, and brother Samuel Sabsowitz.
Ida’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Sara (Robin) and Toby Srebnik; Dori (Robin) and Matthew Pritikin; Eric and Barbara (Vicente) Rappoport; Dr. Adam and Lindsay (Richman) Rappoport; Alexa (Fiegleman) and Michael Lee; and Lauren (Fiegleman) Smith.
Her love extended even further to her great-grandchildren: Bailey and Riley Srebnik, Gabriella and Lillian Pritikin, Maya, Jonah, and Beau Rappoport, Russell Smith, Dalton and Dakota Lee, and Isabella Rappoport.
Affectionately known as “Mommom,” Ida was the heart of her family nurturing generations with warmth, wisdom, and boundless love. She had an extraordinary ability to make each member of her family feel uniquely special.
Those who knew Ida will remember her as the most caring grandmother and great-grandmother devotion unmatched, her love unconditional. Her family always came first in her heart, just as she held first place in theirs.
May Ida’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her as we celebrate her life. She will be dearly missed and remembered forever with love.
