Iris Myrta Torres passed away on May 2, 2002, at the age of 74. She is survived by her son, Joseph, his wife, Julie, her grandson, Nico, and her two brothers, Tony and Louie. Iris was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she lived until 2020, before moving to Florida. She was a payroll analyst at The Equitable until she retired in 2000. She loved Betty Boop, the beach, her grandson Nico and will be truly missed by her family and many friends.
