Her family moved to Lakeland Florida and after graduation began at University of Florida Gainesville. On a fateful Shabbat morning, she joined her parents at Temple and met the love of her life Rabbi Samuel April. After a whirlwind romance, they were married March 16, 1958. They moved to Miami and had Max followed 3 years later by Lizabeth.
After stops in Chattanooga, Cheltenham and Massapequa, they settled in Florida. Judy will be remembered for being the most amazing wife and partner, mother of Max and Pamela and Liz and Carmi, grandmother of Jennifer (Evan), Jessica (Evan) and Jake, Joshua, Simcha (Bina), Akiva and Shoshana and great grandmother of Naomi,Rina and Goldie.
Judy always thought about everyone else and made sure to make everyone feel her love and kindness always.
