Marvin Block

Marvin was born on Jan 12, 1934 in Tucson, Arizona to Joseph and Sarah Block. Shortly after his sisters were born, the family moved to Brooklyn, New York. After graduating high school,

Marvin went on to graduate from the Albany School of Pharmacy. While in college, Marvin met Roberta and they were married a few years after he graduated. After having three daughters and owning his own drugstore, the family moved to Plantation, Florida in 1971.

Marvin was an avid tennis player, a gym rat, and found time to spend with family and friends. He loved to travel and has been to many countries. His pride and joy were the times he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Marvin was an adored husband, a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Marvin is survived by his wife Roberta of 66 1/2 years, children Gail (Scott), Beth (Armen), and Mindy (Bruce). Grandchildren Jodi, Heather(Josh), Colleen(David), Cara(Scott), Nikki, Justin, Casey, and Danielle. In addition, great grandchildren Kaylen, Hailey, Kaylee, Kenny, Brelynn, and Elijah James.

A funeral service for Marvin will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 11:00 AM at Garden of Leah at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
