To Sandy and Family-  My heart goes out to you @ this very difficult time and know that i and all you friends and relatives are here to support you.  Having lost my husband @ a young age, i know what you are truly going through.  One of the best memories of  you are meeting the 1st Sunday of the month to listen to music in Ft. Lauderdale where you always came with Nelson, Errol and your doggies to be with us. This family is like family to me. I met Ilise in 1993. Then I met her family. I met Nelson when he was a baker at the big BJ’s in Sunrise. What a lovely man. Friendly and kind, as is the whole family.  
Family is everything. Time is precious. I feel lucky to have known him.

Nelson's wife of 64 years, Sandra and their son, Errol, their daughter, Lori and Steve Levin and their daughter, Ilise and Michael Bogart and their grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Amanda Levin and Hannah and Rebecca Bogart.


Nelson was a tremendous baker who baked cakes for celebrities at Madison Square Garden, as well as being called a horticulturist for his love of plants. He was very proud of his family, his grandchildren and all animals, especially his pets.
