On June 27, 2022, Norman Perkel of Lake Worth, FL passed away at the age of 54. Norman was born in New York City on February 26, 1968. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin Perkel and mother Marilyn Perkel. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Bradley of Lake Worth, FL and his sisters Meryl (David) Roath of Greenwich, CT and Alyce (Robert) Shuster of Merrick, NY and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Norman loved deeply and was loved by many. He was a loyal friend and rarely met a stranger. He was an immensely talented photographer and had a passion for sharing his knowledge with others. He had a great love for music, guitars, and rocketry, and enjoyed being a part of these communities. Norman enjoyed traveling with his wife and had a true appreciation for adventure and nature. As a photographer, Norman was always chasing the “golden hour” and as a result he and Kim spent countless hours in National Parks as he was capturing the best shots. Together, they witnessed many breathtaking sunrises across our beautiful country. He also had a love and talent for flats fishing in the FL Keys. One of his fondest memories was when he achieved a Super Slam with his lifelong friend and long time guide.
Norman was one of a kind. He will be missed beyond measure. In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Norman, please go on an adventure, make a memory, a new friend, watch a sunrise, have an experience that will stay with you forever. And definitely take a picture!
