Rose Horwitz, 89, of Tamarac, Florida passed away on November 14, 2022. She is survived by her children, Debbie and Jeff Elman, Ilene Rubin, and Jeffrey Horwitz, and grandchildren Joshua Rubin, Tiffany and Bryan Kofsky, and Hayden Horwitz, and great grandchildren Stephen Rubin, Lucas Rubin, Sarah Rubin, and Daxton Kofsky. Rose is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rose was a loving and caring wife, mother, bubbie, and great-bubbie to her family. She loved here family very much and truly enjoyed spending time with them. One of her passions was making ceramics for her family. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed many books.
Rose had a stroke in late 2021. She was able to go on with life for over a year with the loving support of her family. Rose never stopped living even after her stroke and had many amazing experiences with her family in the year after her stroke.
The family has asked that donations be made in Rose’s memory to the American Heart Association or The David Rubin Fund for Religious School and Early Childhood Center Scholarships and Programming at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek 5700 NW 94th Avenue, Tamarac, FL 33321 954-721-7660
