Sandra “Sandy” Borriello of Sunrise, Florida passed away on June 17, 2022, at her home in the arms of friends and family. Daughter to loving parents, Aldo and Linda, who preceded her in death, Sandy is survived by her sister, Elaine; Elaine’s husband, Peter; her niece, Krystina, Krystina’s husband, Gabriel, and their son, Orion; and her nephew, Michael. She was "Aunt Sandy" to so many more than just those she was related to by blood. She has extended family throughout Italy, including her aunt Paola, uncle Antonio and countless cousins. Sandy inherited her parents’ work ethic and passion for life, family and friends. She grew up in the family restaurant, the Italian Garden, where she learned how to express her love for people through food. While at Fort Lauderdale High School, she was in ROTC where she learned discipline and strength, which continued into many other aspects of her life. Sandy graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, where she served as President of Phi Alpha Delta, Pre-Law Fraternity. Sandy enjoyed a successful career as a paralegal and legal administrator for national and international law firms. She served on the Board of the South Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators for more than ten years, and was a role model and cherished friend to many. She will be missed dearly.
