Warren was born in Manchester, England on 11/3/1981 to Adele & Yossi Cohen. Almost from his birth Warren was strong willed and a determined brother, Warren struggled with Asthma for years in his childhood and eventually beat it back successfully to become quite the weekday & weekend warrior. His Parents Adele & Joseph (Yossi) left England in 1986 and took a chance to move to America in order for their sons to get ahead in life and live the American dream.
Warren enjoyed playing Basketball (famously making every shot during Piper High School's JV tryout to make the team his sophomore year) and talking about all things sport related including but not limited to the English Premier League, specifically Manchester United Football, Boxing, the NFL and especially the NBA. Warren and his brother Adam were fierce & stubborn competitors growing up as kids. Warren loved to talk trash (mostly friendly) and finish first whether it was playing video games, a friendly sports / statistical banter and especially playing basketball.
Warren's real passion was music, Warren absolutely loved music, the history of music and especially the 60's - present. He loved the blues, rock and roll and many other genres. He idolized musicians that actually made music without the assistance of computers. Most if not all of Warren's friends and family would agree my brother seemingly was a free spirit, child from the 1960's and could have been transplanted from the original Woodstock or late 1960's Ashbury Heights SF, California. Warren worked 2 jobs for the last few years working for Vita Coco as a hydration expert and swooping tourists on South Beach. Warren also continued working intensely on his music and I mean he really worked on his music daily.
Warren graduated the University of Central Florida and was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon UCF FL - MU Chapter (Wolverine). Warren nearly dropped out of college to pursue music full time but Mom & Dad persuaded him to stick it out and earn his degree in legal studies. After college Warren moved back home with my parents and turned their garage into his own studio, he was a self taught drummer, guitarist and had a few keyboard lessons along the way many years ago. Warren would play and write music day and night, he had a true passion for music.
A few years ago Warren moved to Miami Beach and really came into his own element, he worked two jobs, jammed daily, did yoga in the mornings and was unbelievably happy. He played his music, work passionately for Vita Coco and lived everyday to the fullest. Warren realized it does not take money or material things to be a truly happy person. When you surround yourself with amazing friends and a supportive family that is the true definition of happiness and success.
Warren I love you so much and am saddened and so disappointed that you were taken from us to soon.
Love Always - You Will Be Missed But Will Never Be Forgotten.
Your Loving Brother, Mom & Dad.
