June 12, 1983 – January 16th, 2026
Clayton took his final bow on January16th, 2026, leaving behind his love for rocking and rolling, enjoying time outside, pride for his time in service, and of course his fur babies.
When he wasn’t listening to his records or playing the drums, you could find him outside. He found great peace in the quiet and the freedom of the great outdoors. Beside him, more often than not, was his loyal Bruno and Maya and later his newest addition, Sadie. He had a special connection with his pets; they offered the kind of unconditional love that he will carry on his soul.
Clayton was a man of immense strength who faced the world with transparency. He fought a long and courageous battle with addiction. While the journey was often difficult, his family chooses to remember him not for his struggles, but for his resilience, his laughter, and the moments of pure clarity and joy he shared with those he loved. He taught us all the true meaning of perseverance and the importance of showing up for one another, no matter how hard the road gets.
Clayton is survived and remembered by his father, Alfred Holden, his mother, Pamela Holden, his sister, Nicole Holden, his nieces and nephew, Hannah Minchew, Hailey Lucas and River Studer and his dog, Sadie.
Turn it up loud, keep the fire burning, and I’ll see you on the other side!
