Anna Marcy Branch, age 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. Marcy was born in Augusta, Arkansas on November 28, 1938 to Arthur and Bertha Leonard. She was one of 9 brothers and sisters.
Marcy graduated with Honors from Augusta High School in Augusta in 1956. Macy began a career with Southwestern Bell after raising her family and later retired from there. She also became a Realtor and worked with her team at Coldwell Banker RPM Group until just recently. She was awarded honorary recognition for her real estate sales.
Marcy was a member of the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ for many years and lived in the apartment community until recently. The church has been her source of help and strength throughout her life.
She loved her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren; spending time with family and friends. Marcy and her siblings had an annual get-together. She also loved going to the casino with her best friend, Dorothy, and spending time daily visiting over the phone with Dorothy and Kandy.
Marcy is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bertha Leonard, her son, Paul and her siblings Jasper, Mildred, Elsie, Edith, John and Mary. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons Curtis Branch, David (Lisa) Branch and John (Sharon) Branch; Brother, Donald (Donita) Leonard; Sister, Vera Bonner; Grandchildren Tony Branch, Candy Thibodeaux, Corina Brown, Heather Fanguy, Sierra Rochester, Duke (Lonigan) Branch, Jacob Branch, Nicholas Branch, Nathan Fleury, Candace Fleury, Dillon Fleury, Angela Frasieur and Macy Ault along with Great Granddaughters Carli Rudolph and Kimber Frasieur; her best friend Dorothy Aubrey and her special friend, Kandy Jones.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29th at the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m.. A private burial will immediately follow the services. Brother Greg Clark will officiate.
