

Dalbert Lee Alexander, Jr., 82, passed away surrounded by family on September 17, 2023. He was born on September 11, 1941 in Imperial, California, the son of Dalbert Lee and Jean Mae (Varner) Alexander. He married his wife Lynda (Molder) in 1961 and were married for 52 years before she preceded him in death in 2013. He worked for many years as a heavy machine operator at YPG in Yuma, Arizona. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling with his wife, flowers of all kinds, especially roses, and spending quality time with his family. He was also a beekeeper for many years.
After he and Lynda retired, they moved to New Mexico where they enjoyed relaxing in their home, going for drives, buying flowers, trying new things and traveling to see their children and grandchildren. In recent years he spent free time at the Jacksonville gym where he was known as Squeaky.
Dalbert leaves to cherish his legacy, his children, sons Dalbert Lee Alexander III and his wife Tess of Winter Haven, Florida, Susan Oliphant and her husband Tony of Sherwood, Arkansas, Mark Alexander and his wife Judy of Evening Shade, Arkansas, and Barbara Akins and her husband Jeremiah Coffman of Yuma, Arizona. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Robert Alexander of Arizona, Jeanette Cary, Betty Alexander, and Elizabeth Loe all of California. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Alice Wilson and brother in law John Wilson.
In keeping with is wishes, cremation was chosen and memorial services in both Arkansas and New Mexico are being planned.
