Danny Ray Pennington, 67, of Sherwood, died November 16, 2015. Born April 15, 1948 in Searcy, Arkansas, he was the son of Ray and Allene Smith Pennington. A cabinet maker for Ray Pennington Cabinet Shop of Sherwood, he loved trains and enjoyed photography. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie McKelvey Pennington; son, James Pennington of Sherwood; daughter, Bethany Bonham (Steve) of Jacksonville; parents, Ray Burnham and Allene Smith Pennington of Sherwood; brother, Bob Pennington (Lynn) of Sherwood, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21st at North Hills Baptist Church, 9618 AR 107, Sherwood, AR with Rev. Jim Ward and Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
