Elbert “Bert” Lee Warner, 93, of North Little Rock passed away April 8, 2024. He was born October 6, 1930 in Wisner, Louisiana to the late Lee Washington and Willie Mae (Sanders) Warner. In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by his wife of almost 68 years, Janice “Pat” Warner; and two brothers, Glen Warner, and Charlie Warner.
Bert's passions were diverse and reflected his vibrant spirit. In his spare time, he found joy in singing gospel music, where his voice lifted hearts and souls. He was a cherished member of a gospel music group, sharing his talent with many and was an active member of the Graves Memorial Baptist Church. Additionally, Bert had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, relishing the quiet moments spent in nature.
Professionally, Bert was self-employed and took pride in his work. Known for his friendly demeanor and quick wit, Bert was also someone who enjoyed making others laugh with his jokes and jovial personality.
Those left to cherish the memories of Bert include his sons, Mark (Carolyn) Warner and Brent (Joy) Warner; four grandchildren, Bridget Johnson, Jonathan Warner (Kandie), Dustin Warner (Kristin) and Jacqueline Warner; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
