George Edward Wiggins passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, August 30, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. George was big hearted, strong willed and knew how to have a good time! He deeply loved his family, friends, the Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys, dogs and a wide variety of music.
He was a Navy veteran who served his country and loved “Merica”! He was a man of many trademark sayings that those close to him heard on numerous occasions. Things like- “I don’t like dogs, never have liked dogs, and I ain’t gonna start liking dogs now” or “why surrrre…you know I will” among many others!
He was survived by his sons Marty and Wesley Wiggins, their wives- Karrie and Erin, four wonderful grandkids- Grant, Griffin, Finley and Camden, his amazing Aunt Cookie Brown and first cousins Dianne and Karen, his longtime girlfriend Tammy King, his Boston Terrier Izzy, and many close fun loving friends. He will be greatly missed by many!
In true George Wiggins fashion, he didn’t want a service where everyone would come together, weep and mourn his loss. Instead, a celebration of his life is being planned that will involve a Razorback game, cold beer, a cookout, and most importantly his family and friends. More details to come!
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to help fund the celebration and can be Venmoed to
