Gwendolyn D. Wright, 93, of North Little Rock, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. She was born October 14, 1921 in Little Rock to EW and Julia Daniel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Fay Wright, daughter, Julia Wright, and sister, Hiawatha Daniel. She was a homemaker and member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She formerly served as a board member for the Salvation Army Auxiliary and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons, Dan (Kim) Wright and Preston (Brenda) Wright; daughter, June (Bob) Grubbs; 10 grandchildren, Trey Hicks, Brian Wright, Keith Felton, Kelly Harden, Ashley Kafka, Kim Copeland, Wes Grubbs, Bryden Wright, Lawson Wright, and Gannon Wright; 13 great-grandchildren; and by special friend and caregiver, Wendy Dilon. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
