

Jimmie “Jim” Frank Baier, 85, of Little Rock reunited with his family and friends with our Lord Jesus Christ Sunday, January 11, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born to the late, Albert F. and Mary Anna Weber Baier in Walsh, Colorado on October 16, 1929. Jimmie was a Korean War veteran who retired from Little Rock Distributing/Silbernagel Wholesale. His family cabin was his cherished retreat, he loved to fish and be outdoors. Most of all he loved being with his family and cutting his grass. He surrounded himself with family and his pets. He impacted many people with his honesty, laughter and courage. Jimmie will forever be in our hearts and will be sadly missed. Jimmie was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Irene Riddling, Dorothy Lily, Lawrence, Ella Mae and Charles Ray Baier; children, Billy Frank and James Michael Baier, Nancy Sory; grandchildren, Jason Harrison and Matthew Sory. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Susan Baier; daughters, Debra Crane, husband Charlie of East End, AR, Cathy Jamele, husband Nick of Flower Mound, TX; siblings, Joyce Standridge of Little Rock, Mary Knisley of Knoxville, TN, Robert Baier of Little Rock and Tommy Baier of Guy, AR; grandchildren, Toni Wells, husband Mitch, Greg Crane, Dusty Sory, wife Jeri, Nicholas and Mauriana Jamele, Tommy Crane, wife Vickie; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Katie and Kerrigan Wells, Brett, Chase and Destiny Crane. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
